Women Voters Could Decide 2024 Presidential Election

Women voters are set to play a crucial role in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. They make up the largest group of registered voters and tend to vote in high numbers, as seen in the 2020 election where 68.4% of women cast their ballots.

A recent Quinnipiac poll shows President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in a close race. Biden has gained 58% of the women’s vote, an increase from previous polls, while Trump’s support among women has dropped to 36%. Black and Hispanic women voters, who significantly supported Biden in 2020, continue to be key demographics.

Women’s growing concern over reproductive rights, economic issues, and recent political events could influence their votes. Biden’s campaign is prioritizing women’s votes, with Vice President Kamala Harris leading the effort. High turnout among women could be decisive in determining the next president.
